Yoriko Wakabayashi
YORIKO WAKABAYASHI (Piano)
Yoriko Wakabayashi studied piano under Hamish Milne at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with DipRAM, the Academy’s highest performance award. Since then she has performed at several prestigious venues in London, including the South Bank Centre and St. John’s Smith Square.
She has made appearances throughout the UK and internationally, notably in Japan and Malaysia. She has broadcast for Classic FM and has recorded on the Oxford Classics label. From 1996 to 2007 Yoriko was Assistant Director of the UK-Japan Choir.
Current chamber music partnerships include a two piano duo with her husband, Graham Caskie.
