IMOGEN RYALL and RODERICK HART

Imogen Ryall and Roderick Hart have been working and performing together for many years and have been much in demand on the Jazz circuit both in the UK and abroad. They have appeared at Ronnie Scott’s; The Royal Festival Hall; The Barbican Hall and at numerous Jazz Festivals up and down the country.
Imogen’s debut CD Alone Together, a collection of standards and original material, received extensive airplay and was much championed by DJ Sarah Ward who described her as having “A very lovely voice indeed”. She has written lyrics to a number of compositions including Waltz For Ruth by Charlie Haden; My Little Suede Shoes by Charlie Parker and All Across The City by Jim Hall.
Roderick has worked with many of the UK’s leading Jazz performers including Bobby Wellins, Elaine Delmar, Peter King, Claire Martin and Geoff Simkins. He is also much in demand as a recording engineer/producer.
Their last album At The Dorchester was recorded during a residency at the Hotel and their performances attracted the attention of one or two famous guests – one of whom was Tony Bennett who said: “You guys are great!”
